Install the early-access extension

FitMirror is available as a development extension. These packages are not browser-store releases.

Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera

Download Chromium extension ZIP. Extract it, open your browser's extensions page, enable Developer mode, select Load unpacked, and choose the extracted folder containing manifest.json.

Firefox and compatible Waterfox

Download Firefox extension ZIP. Extract it, open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox, select Load Temporary Add-on and choose manifest.json. Firefox 142 or newer is required. The temporary installation ends when Firefox restarts; permanent installation needs Mozilla signing.

Use it on a clothing page

Open a product and its size guide. Click FitMirror in the browser extension menu, then Open fitting room. On Mac you can use Command+Shift+Y. Review the imported dimensions and measurement type. Image-only size charts and unsupported layouts require manual measurement entry.

Enable image try-on

Open Connect AI in the fitting room, enter your OpenAI API key and select Test connection. The key is temporary and never saved to your profile. Generation may incur charges on your API account; a ChatGPT subscription is not an API credential. Set a spending limit in your API project. Choose an avatar or body photo, review the processing consent and Terms, then generate.

Open the synthetic test shop or open the web demo. The demo's garment image and measurements are illustrative test data.
